Electronic Arts says it can't integrate Take-Two before holiday season
BOSTON, Aug 18, 2008 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX News Network) --
Electronic Arts Inc. Monday said it no longer
believes it can integrate Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. ahead of the
holiday season.
The company said it will allow its tender offer for all of the currently
outstanding shares of common stock of Take-Two to expire on Monday at 11:59
p.m., New York City time because it now requires due diligence to support a
transaction.
Shares of Electronic Arts fell 12.9% to $48.24 in premarket trades.
